Oh, this is fascinating! I actually have the opposite problem when it comes to fic -- I struggle to write lengthy pieces. But I'm slow glad you recorded this, it's very compelling.
Poor Curufin! ... That's something I never thought I'd write, but yes, poor Curufin. I'm glad he finds his green-eyed girl. I hope they're happy, at least for a little while.

I can write short pieces pretty easily now, but they still tend to end up longer than I intended when I started. Of course, this is the exact opposite of what most fiction markets want now. :^| The other day, I saw an ad in City Paper for a short story contest ... maximum 1500 words. As if! The urge to meander into areas I didn't expect when first thinking up the story usually takes hold multiple times. As, erm, this review attests.
