Title: At the dawn of the world

Oh, dear. Like Dawn said, the Eldar couldn't have known what was in store for them. This is a lovely poem which captures the innocence of Cuivienen before the Kinslaying.

Title: At the dawn of the world

Lovely! This line was especially poignant to me: "This foreign might, unknown power / Would never let this new lands die." Considering the havoc the Valar would wreak on the lives of the Eldar, their trust here is a little painful. And the last pair of lines could inspire me to write an overlong story for sure. ;)

And welcome to SWG! :) It's great to have another poet among our numbers!

Thank you! I can't believe I've overlooked this site before) It's nice to know you like my poem. I wish to write some good long story one day, though.
