Title: Erebor

The loss of a language is a sad thing and you show that clearly. Although it does seem that Elros and Elrond make it easier to accept for Maglor?

Author's Response:

Agreed. Thingol's Sindarin decree has always bugged me the wrong way, and I can't imagine those proud, proud evil fëanorians (hah, right) accepting it until the very end - and by then, as you say, Elrond and Elros would make it easier for Maglor.

Title: Isengard

It is the one decision that Maedhros is usually assumed to have got right, that passing of the crown to Fingolfin. But of course you are quite right, it was a very dangerous gift, the leadership of a doomed people!
