Title: Waiting

Ah, how wonderful.  I smiled so big my jaw was about to crack.

My favorite line:  "You smell like someone’s village sweetheart all tarted up for a harvest festival".

And in my mind I thought... "what a delicious tart, Maedhros!  Stop whining!"

:D

Author's Response:

Thank you! Fingon is definitely delicious in my own head. So happy to have made you smile!

Title: Waiting

I have been humbled, he thought, yet still I have my pride to have been loved by one like him.

Oh, Maedhros, you are a magnificent creature, and deserve him!

This was lovely, Oshun, a little bright beacon on that ever-cold hill!

Author's Response:

I am so happy you found this and read it! Thank you so much. I desperately needed a bright little beacon in the darkness of this annoying week. And with the help of the intrepid Ignoble Bard I got an ending which almost makes it a real story. Thank you again for saying nice things.

Title: Waiting

I loved Fingon's "grand entrance" in the dark. And this: “You smell like someone’s village sweetheart all tarted up for a harvest festival.” is just hilarious, but perfect between them.

They're a fine pair, these two together, when you write them.

Author's Response:

Awww! Thanks! Your indulgence of my frivolity is more than welcome.

Title: Waiting

I'm so happy that you've written them again! I do get withdrawal symptoms in the intervals.

It's touching how he wants the castle to be beautiful as well as strong, for Fingon.

Fingon may not always be on schedule, but he's always worth waiting for!

Author's Response:

Oh, thank you so much! I get withdrawal from them also; even when I do not have much to say, I want to visit them again.
