Comments For A Kindred Heart
I've read several lovely stories of yours recently but this one is by far my favourite. I love Indis's voice and the intimacy that so quickly arises between her and Nerdanel, who I also love, for her groundedness. This was so exquisitely done.
Thank you so very much! I am so pleased that you enjoyed reading this. I just received notifications of a bunch of lovely reviews from you on various stories. It might take me a while to respond to all of them. I am typing on a lame hand at the moment.
I do want to write more about Indis and Nerdanel in the future.
Thank you so much again for your comments.
A vivid, very real portrait of two strong women in the prime of their powers. I have to admit this story has stayed with me the past couple of days due to the descriptions and the openness of their conversation. I like Indis' observations of Nerdanel and recognition of her effect on Feanor. Nerdanel has a refreshing candor and optimism perfect for this stage of her life. The story of the tapestry is poignant, underlining the the sorrow that drives Feanor, and of course the tapestry itself is an amazing piece of work brought to life by your skill.
A great addition to your oeuvre, featuring characters we don't often get background on.
Thank you so much. I am really happy that you liked it. I cannot tell you often enough how much I appreciate you support (and the grunt work also of trying to catch my proliferation of typos!). I am so happy that the characters rang true for you. You are a great enabler.
I enjoyed this very much, Oshun! It's one of your slices of life, packed with appealing and interesting things: the sculpture, the nursery, the rocking-horse, the tapestry... And the first meeting of two very strong characters!
Oh, Himring! Thank you so much for reading and commenting. I am really happy you enjoyed it. That means a lot to me.
