Comments For A Brief Early History of Avant-Garde Textile Art
I enjoyed this!
Vaire herself sounds like part avant-garde textile artist, part historical researcher. And Miriel daring to disapprove of a Valie in her own realm sounds just about right!
I really like the idea of Miriel disappearing from the tapestries, owing to her being not-alive anymore (and wonder if Vairë would reconsider this stance on her tapestries once folk started dying left and right...what a lot of work to undo!).
And I love the drollness of something as intensely private as "King Finwë's Personal Life" being casually and literally titled in Vairë's work.
