Reviews For Character of the Month Biographies
This bio is chock full of details that I did not know or, or if I ever did, had long forgotten. It reflects really a lot of work and is an awesome contribution to the character bios. I love the concept of Tilion as the Man in the Moon! I was only a couple of weeks ago reading in Tom Garth's Tolkien and the Great War about how JRRT originally wrote his early poem, "The Man in the Moon Came Down Too Soon," as a nonsense poem and later revised it and found another use for it as a Hobbit song (and, I have no doubt now, that it influenced the tale of Tilion the guardian of the moon). Tolkien rarely entirely wastes any idea. In fact, he is notably for using many in multiple different ways.
Excuse my rambling! Very useful bio! Thanks for all the hard work.
Author's Response: Writers usually do that, use their ideas once and once again in clever and different ways! Thank you for the info! And thank you for commenting. I'm happy you liked it! :)
That is indeed a good bio to go along with Arien's.
Thank you very much!
Author's Response: Thank you! I got the details for Tilion when I was doing my research for Arien, and the descriptions of the birth of both fruits are beautiful in the oldest stories. :)
