Unfortunately, sites with automated registration systems are open to abuse by spammers. When you sign up for a new account, your account will be locked initially. On the registration form, you will be asked to provide some information on why you want to join the SWG. Only moderators can view this information, and anything related to your interest in Tolkien or fanfiction will get your account approved quickly by one of our moderators. If we have questions about your registration, one of our moderators will contact you at the email you used at registration.
Your account should be approved within twenty-four hours of registration. In the unlikely event that you don't hear from us within twenty-four hours, please feel free to contact our moderator team.
We reject a new accounts if the registration itself violates our Site Etiquette and Terms of Service (for example, if the registration form itself contains spam links) or if the registration form shows no legitimate interest in our site.
