The SWG server is a private server that requires an invitation to join. However, our policy on invites is extremely open, so we frequently see new members join. Invites are generally available as follows:
- Members of the server can create invites from the #read-me-first channel.
- Logged-in members of the SWG site can join the server using an open invite available in the listing of our social media in the site's footer.
- When we are holding events on the server, we sometimes issue open invites over our social media for the duration of the event.
- People interested in the server can contact any moderator for an invite.
In keeping with our commitment to openness, we do not have any requirements to join the server beyond a willingness to follow the server's rules. We encourage our members to invite others to our server but to also be aware, in their communications here, that what they are sharing is occurring in a semi-public space.
