My prompt:

In the Fourth Age, decades after King Elessar’s death, Maglor’s settled down in Harad. Over the years, he’s accidently managed to make a found family of people from all over: outcasts, travelers, even a few people whose biological families have been living in his sprawling house for a couple of generations. However, him being an Elf is a growing issue as Elves— even the Avarin clans that sometimes wandered to the coast— are becoming legends once more.

On the eve of the first storm of the season, Huan washes ashore. The Maia seems perfectly content to play the role of a giant, spoiled housepet, but Maglor suspects he’s not here simply to be a companion. And it’s still storm season on the Harad coastline.

Except for Maglor, all of the main characters should be POC. Politics and intrigue, some action/adventure, some hurt/comfort would be nice. “Storm season” need not be interpreted literally.

Storm Season

Photo collage with six photos: a wet wolfhound, a swing on a beach with dark clouds in the background, a barred window, an open doorway leading onto a stone patio, a lit hurricane lantern placed on rocks on a beach, and several overlapping hands.

Market Moodboard

An extra piece I created for a scene set in the market of Hadast.

The photos are public domain; the Eye of Sauron is Tolkien's own drawing.

Small moodboard of five images: people walking in a market, a man carrying a tray of bread rolls above his had, colorful glass lanterns, a stack of gold cloth bolts, and Tolkien's drawing of the Eye of Sauron.

Hello Huan, my love! Welcome back to Middle-earth! This is a fabulous prompt, the concept and your moodboards both!

I think any story written to this will be a good read. Looking forward to reading how StarSpray interprets this.
