Fanwork Notes

MirienSilowende's accompanying fic can be found here on AO3. (Fic is rated Explicit for torture and implied noncon.)

Warning: the moodboard implies torture via a picture of a bloody needle.

My prompt:

Elrond is secretly visiting Númenor during the reign of Ar-Pharazôn, years after Sauron’s capture. What is so important that he needs to risk his life to visit? What does he become entangled in? What happens when he’s captured? Is he tortured for being an Elf who dared to step foot on Númenor or is he used in an attempt to discover the secret of the half-Elven choice and immortality? How do the Faithful help him during all of the above?

I would like darkfic with an unflinching look at what it means to be one of the Faithful (esp. those who aren’t the male named characters), Elrond tortured, some hurt/comfort, and a bittersweet or happy ending. Feel free to go full-fledged canon divergent AU with this.
