My illustrations with a bit of life and music by DTH: Arda inspired songs in Polish.

Originally created for the 10th anniversary of the Hobbiton forum (2011), the oldest Polish JRRT fans community online. Unexpectedly repainted and animated in 2020 & 2022 for 20th anniversary of the forum.
The figures represent both the real people (the forum members, the two largest Elves figures and a Mummakil are the admins) as well as Tolkien's characters. Whether they are real Tolkien's characters or people in cosplay decide for yourself. The only certain character from The Silmarillion is the one appearing out of the drawing board and the one trying to portray him is... me ;)
The text in the speech bubble at 00:53 comes from "The Shibboleth of Fëanor", HoME 12:
"He wore his long dark hair in great plaits braided with gold."
And who might that be? ;)
On these very forums the idea and songs for "Księga Zaginionych Pieśni" ("A Book of Lost Songs") by DTH were born. Lyrics by Avari and Nifrodel, music by Jacek Wanszewicz, sung by Karolina Driemel and Jarosław "Elek" Florczak. The bonfire on illustrations burns at Tolk Folk open air convention, where many forum members used to meet and sing these very songs.
