Okay, so I couldn't put these thoughts into fic, so have a moodboard and some ramblings instead.
This is a modern au where Celegorm and Lúthien meet in college in some environmental studies course.
Both of their families run in similar yet separate high society circles, and they decide that hooking up with each other will really upset their families. And it did.
Their relationship consists of rallies against climate change, motorcycle trips and hikes, early morning coffee and late night parties where they scandalise all their parents' high society buddies.
Is this going to last?
Who knows?
Maybe once Beren enters the picture, Lúthien will leave. Maybe they'll end up in a threesome. Maybe they crash and burn on their own. In a silmaril free modern au, anything is possible.
I didn't plan for plot, I was just going with the vibes the song gave me XD
