Of necessity some of the characters in this story are called by their Sindarin/Quenya names, even though those languages did not yet exist during the period in which the story is set. This is because no other names are given for those characters in Tolkien's works. As for the word kwendi, I use that instead of quendi, because the former seems to be the correct form in primitive Elvish.
