At the beginning of the First Age the Elves of Beleriand rejoiced; Kin long sundered returned home. Yet all was not as it seemed. The real reasons for the return of the Noldor were kept hidden among themselves.
The Enemy, known among the returning elves as Morgoth stirred in the iron hell of Angband. Wars were fought and lost. Many Kingdoms were founded; some rose to glory, though in the end all fell in blood and fire.
Thrown into the chaos of Arda Marred, Evelyn must adapt to a world not her own. Arda is a dangerous place in which to be vulnerable.

Young Ereinion Gil-Galad faces a childhood in wartime exile, with some help from a couple of Sindar, accounted among the Wise in Middle-earth.

A possible glimpse into Círdan's history
Young Ereinion once sent his father Fingon to bed for a week with a poorly placed toy and learned much about his father as a result. Now, with Fingon dead, his people at war, and his world upended, Ereinion tries a similar tactic to learn something about his new foster-father, Círdan. Remix of Levade's This Ereinion, written for the Many Paths to Tread 2010 Remix Challenge. 2011 MEFA nominee.

1 – Rhyme of the Finwion: Thingol muddles the Noldor lords’ disturbingly similar names. Diplomatic ruin? Not with Círdan to the rescue!
2 – Nowë’s Ark: It’s the War of Wrath. And Yavanna has a wee little job for Círdan…
3 – Lavender’s Blue: Círdan chats with the blue-eyed, perfumed ex-lieutenant of Morgoth.
4 - Hunting by Number: Finrod and Círdan learn where they fall on Morgoth’s hit-list.
5 - Waiting: Nowë makes four promises to his brother. 500 words fixed length.
6 - Vertigo: Finrod and Círdan visit Barad Nimras, where it is learned that neither is without his phobias.

A place to house my short ficlets as I write them, or the ones that I can't bring myself to post here as individual stories anyway. Most of these will just a couple of hundred words long.
#1 - "The Way That We Love" - Fingolfin/Anaire, very loosely based on theme of "Five Things Anairë Hates About Fingolfin". Written Dec'07.
#2 - "Inheritance" - a sort of missing moment story featuring Círdan and a very young Ereinion Gil-galad. Gen. Written Mar'10.
A story that takes place after the Last Battle at the End of the World. Cirdan, Gimli, Legolas, and Feanor take roles in recovering the Silmarils.
Elros and Gil-galad have had a fight, and even Elrond sides with Gil-galad. Elros feels miserable and chats with Cirdan.
Maedhros and Maglor are driven out of Eastern Beleriand. They flee to the Falas with Elros, Elrond, Legolas, Gimli, and other followers. Cirdan meets them and ferries them to the Isle of Balar.
This is the Redemption of the Noldor and the love story of Cirdan and Finrod. (There are 2 endings.)
It's the story of Osse and features his rebellion against Ulmo and his relationship with Cirdan and Uinen. (Book of Lost Tales 1 based.)
Cirdan lives apart from his people after the return of Thingol. Uinen comes to him to cheer him up. He teaches the Falathrim to use their skill to heal the hurts of the world. Osse and Uinen come to the Falas for a Feast to resolve old issues.
This story attempt to explain why Cirdan alone of the elves is old.
These are legends and tales of the Falathrim. The first one is about Cirdan and his turtle. The second is Beleg and his favorite arrow, Dailir. The third tale is about Feanor and Nerdanel falling in love.
For the first time in thousands of years, winter comes to Mithlond, the Grey Havens. Gildor is upset by this and goes to confront Cirdan.
Gil-galad is tired of sitting idle on the Isle of Balar and decides to try sailing West to Valinor. Cirdan deters him. The full meaning of Gil-galad's many names is revealed.
Pharazôn and Amandil's diplomatic mission to Middle-earth may do more harm than good ...
Elrond receives a final letter from his brother.
Eönwë has been chosen to teach the Edain who will go to Númenor what they need to know to succeed in their new life, but he’s not too happy about the assignment.
