About Me
I joined the fandom in Spring 2004 and has been writing since then. Mostly I write in the Silmarillion part of the Tolkien fandom although I started, and have some uninished stories, in the Lotr part of fandom.
I am known as a picky reader and I have been advocating the use of constructive critism within the fandom for years, although not to the right people I suspect.
As one of the co-moderators of SWG I would also like to assure people that I am friendly and approachble although have a little patience for unneccessary drama.
Favourite characters in general vary although the house of Finwe (in particular Feanor's and Fingolfin's families) are always closest to my heart.

Midwinter Sweetness by ford_of_bruinen
These are two different stories, the first one was a Christmas tale for Christmas 2004 and retells the Christmas Story in a Second Age setting. The second one is a very short ficlet written as a Christmas present the following year for Keiliss and Ilye, using their favourite pairing.
Warnings: There are some VERY mild slash references in the two stories and one of the stories need an MPreg warning... just cos it would not be the same take on the christmas story without it.
