Thanks Cuarthol! This image popped into my mind just like this when I read Wander/Lferion's instadrabble about Caranthir sending a sketch in a letter to Finrod by way of an invitation to visit — it clearly had the same effect on him as on you since the drabble collection is about his visit — in the First and again in the Fourth Age.
