This was absolutely not inspired by the hot chocolate I've been drinking this winter XD

Hot Chocolate

Maedhros curls his hand around the steaming mug of cocoa, breathing in the rich scent as it wafts up towards his face. Taking a sip, he hums in satisfaction. “This is the highlight of my visits here, Caranthir; you make the best hot chocolate I’ve ever tasted. We could use some of it in Himring; Maglor would dearly love this to warm him up on the bitterly cold days in the midst of winter.”

Caranthir smiles. “I shall send you the recipe and what supplies we can spare.” He doesn’t hear Maedhros’ response, his mind already working on how to make the drink more transportable. If he worked in tandem with the Dwarves, perhaps they could contrive something.

I love the way Caranthir immediately started to plan to make the Hot Chocolate transportable. It's adorable. 

Thank you; I'm delighted that you enjoyed his characterization in this fic!  I don't know why, but Caranthir seems to strike me as showing his care for others through more practical means.  But maybe that's just fanon getting to me XD
