Loved this! I really liked the kind of snapshot of how Thranduil became known to and attached to and then integrated into the people he would rule over. Lovely and magical <3

I think my favourite lines were ‘The trees provide us with the means to make music,’ they explained, ‘and we offer our music back to them in thanksgiving. We need nothing else. You should try a wooden flute.’
