Read A Gift
Dawn breaks over the peaks of the Iron Mountains. Dawn, a new word for a still-new phenomenon, light returning from wherever she hides in the dark. The world is still, and silent, and Findekáno lets himself stop, to think, to admire, even. Great Eagles, who had, on occasion, been spotted high in the sky as they crossed the Helcaraxë, wheeled and danced overhead, apparently keeping a watchful eye on the Dark Vala. Findekáno smiled, for a second, before resuming his quest, looking for one who was lost.
A gift, to heal the rift between the great Houses of the Noldor.
