The relinquishment of self-interest in favor of the interests of others, abnegation was identified by Tolkien as a powerful act of spirit and reason. This is... I'm speecheless. The descriptions, every detail, every nuances, every emotions are so very detailed and graphic. I truly grief for Maedhros for his pain and to Fingon too. Not many writer dared to write the amputation scene and yours is the best I've read so far. I can feel each of Maedhros' pain and I want to weep for him. This is truly a marvelous piece of fiction!
