Super super last minute fill for Curufinrod week! Doesn't really fit any specific prompt but here it is regardless. Technically you could view this as a continuation of the previous curufinrod fic I posted but it also stands well by itself.

Summary:

It is nice, the sunlight and the warmth of a solid body against his. It is nice to be able to think, at least for a little while, that perhaps Curufin had been speaking true when he said he was trying. Nice in a way that means Finrod will miss it terribly when it is gone again.

“You are thinking too loudly,” Curufin mumbles against his shoulder. “Go back to sleep, Ingo.”

I'm not very familiar with this pairing, and it takes some getting used to! But I really love what you've written here, with all its unexpected gentleness and hope, trying and trusting. And 'thinking too loudly' seems such a Finrod thing to do! I've read this twice today, and I'll definitely be coming back to it.
