Great story, Marnie! Very canon-mindful, and I thoroughly enjoyed the dialogues. Celeborn is not usually my favourite character, but this story made me feel for him. I liked your use of elven foresight.

The only thing spoiling the perfect reading experience was the grammar in Tolkien's kindred names- half NoldO</>, SindarIN queen etc.

I like all the different views and tensions here. I'd never really considered the political consequences of Celeborn and Galadriel's marriage before reading your stories, and how it would serve to set them both aside from their people. Also all the rumors going on about Galadriel wanting to take over Lorinand and about her and Celeborn's marriage falling apart were interesting.

Also, that ending was downright tragic! Chilling, even...

Haha, great story!
