Table of Contents

Nerdanel meets Fëanor for the first time.

prompt: hope, glass, special, fascinating

Out drinking with his buddies, young Curufin needs a place to pee.

prompt: alcohol, groups, bond, elimination

Newlywed Fëanor and Nerdanel at work on a hot afternoon. Adultish.

prompt: old, afternoon, temperature, midnight

Midnight comes, but Fëanor is no longer in the mood. Still adultish.

prompt: need, benefit, depression, happy

There was a discussion the other day on the SWG Discord about Elwing and whether she would have visited Elros in Númenor. This drabble takes on this idea, as Elwing first spies the ships approaching Númenor.

prompt: passing, ospreys, yellow, shadow

In 5th Age Tirion, Caranthir is called to court to account for himself.

I was challenged to write a drabble in the Republic of Tirion series. This was harder than it seems. I ended up doing two perfect drabbles, side by side, each using one of two prompt sets.

prompts:
court, sentencing, possible, division
given, field, equipment, wife

Quenya Names:
Carnistir = Caranthir
Nelyo = Maedhros

A newly reembodied Celegorm receives his first lesson in his new life.

prompt: woodcraft, creature, command, garden

On the eve of the Fëanorians' exile to Formenos, Fingon tries to convince Maedhros to stay.

prompt: black, brother, home, evidence

Fëanor and Nerdanel remember their wanderings fondly, but they weren't always pleasant. Until they were.

prompt: always been best for discovering

OMG! I don't need to watch that show because that is my everyday life! Or more like preventing what happens when the pre-teen to adult ratio is too high!

These guys and their little bromance started with "The Sovereign and the Priest" and they have been on my mind ever since. Curufin is a frequent victim. (He's an easy target, poor Curvo.)

Holy shit, now this lady is going to have a place in the Republicverse as a Judge Judy character! She needs her own story.

Thanks for reading! I'm laughing that your most enthusiastic response so far would be for the one that's not really a drabble! :D (I got away with cheating on this by writing two perfect drabbles and then smooshing them together.) And I *angsted* to get it down to even 200 words. Anyway, I'm glad you liked it. <3
