It is always a pleasure to read fics about the marginal cultures, peoples and characters and 1st age Easterlings count among my faves.

I must say I like your rendition quite a lot. The Elves' reaction to these people is also very much in character. It all plays out in a very credible way. Great job.

This is an interesting and striking account of the first encounter with Bor's tribe!

(At first, though, I thought they were going to Estolad to have a look at Beor and his Edain--until I realized my mistake. Did you intend for that to happen, I wonder?)
