B2MeM Challenge: After Tom Bombadil rescues the Hobbits from the Barrow-wights, he carries treasures from the barrow of the Last Prince of Cardolan, and picks a blue brooch to take home to Goldberry. His comments indicate that they knew the woman who bore it, and I'd love to know more about her, about the Cardolan culture of her time, how she met Goldberry and what their relationship was. Either gen or femslash would be great, and I'd prefer it if Tom Bombadil didn't come into the story too much. -ladyelleth

Notes: Goldberry’s and Idhril’s conversation about Tom is intended to mirror Goldberry’s and Frodo’s, and some of the details of the house were snitched from FotR.
