Oh, how lovely! When I think about Elwing, it's almost always melancholy, so it was delightful to read this upbeat story, feeling so warm and summery with the open window and the bright flowers. I loved the idea of Elwing weaving and receiving visitors - and then, that happy surprise! I loved that she used the Palantír to verify the albatross' words. And what a beautiful thought to close on!
