That's a nice explanation for how there might be a fair-haired Celegorm. I wish I had thought of that idea some 10 or 12 years ago. I might have used it for my own story-verse of the sons of Feanor. I do like the idea that one of Feanor's kids looked like Miriel.

Mine came for a desire to mix it up a little visually! I liked the visual effect of throwing in a tawny-haired blondish guy with all of those dark-haired or red-headed siblings. I saw some genetic information that indicated that some types of gene mutations that produce red hair can also produce blonds. I also was fond of Dawn Felagund's golden-headed Celegorm in Another Man's Cage. Back in the early days of my Silm fic writing, I relied heavily upon cross-fertilization from my fandom BFFs.

In the years of the sun, Celegorm was marked as "Heartless" and "Cruel", especially for his actions done to Luthien, but this story certainly showed a softer side to him!

Who would have thought that Tyelkormo, for all his brash temper and fell deeds could have been such a sweet child in Valinor?
