The October challenge at tolkienshortfanworks on Dreamwidth has been posted. This month's challenge allows you to pick a sequence of words from Tolkien prompts that you have to use in the same order. New participants welcome.
This came out of a Lockdown Instadrabbling session on the SWG Discord server, 12 April 2020. The prompts (ocean star song discover) triggered a playback of the Tolkien Ensemble's version of the Song of Eärendil in my head. This is what came out, and it's so different that I thought I'd put it here by itself instead of burying it with my other instadrabbles.
