I really like this short peek into the lives of Fëanor with his young family. Hah, Nerdanel being miffed already with his attention to his craft, but Fëanor sounds eerily alike my better half hehe. What a wonderful take on this prompt!
Thank you.. So hlad you like Nerdanel, I figure she had to be pretty strong-willed to get involved with him in the first place and stay with him as long as she did.
Thank you. So happy you liked Nerdanel. I cannot see her as passive, to have won and held his love, and particularly as she is described as not being conventionally beautiful either.
Very sweet and enjoyed reading and re-reading this. I loved all of Nerdanel's lines! She is really her husband's match and so typical of him to "make the moves" even at such delicate times. Little Maitimo is adorable as well.
Thanks. I was thinking how I would have reacted; wouldn't cared what briliant thing he was doing. (But then I was never married to a genius, only someone who thinks he is.)
