Lovely work! I really enjoyed your take on the Fëanorians. Just to mention one thing, the foreshadowing in the last line gave me quite a chill.

Maedhros's reasoning for making his sacrifice makes perfect sense and so does your argument about how it must have been done at this time if the two branches of the people were to present a united front so soon after.
