This fic is a small interlude after the third chapter of Breaking Into Light, but I think (?) it can be read on its own.

Also there was that one tumblr post going around about a variation on the Bechdel Test in which Maglor talks to Fingon about something other than Maedhros, which also served as inspiration.

This was so sweet!  I love uncertain, awkward, or slow-blossoming loves than at-first-sights where nobody has to learn or grow. <3

I really enjoyed this relaxed and (comparatively) unworried moment, irritating as Maglor seems to be, especially as he's really just curious and wishes his cousin well. Dire as things become later in Beleriand, it's really nice to think of lightheaded moments, and as much as they tease each other, they really do care for one another. 

A lovely use of the prompts.

ETA I meant "lighthearted", but I guess they're both a bit lightheaded, in different ways!
