I've been experimenting with moodboards recently, so I created this for the prompt "I know that greatness lies in you/But remember from here on in/History has its/Eyes on you". This moodbaord represents Finarfin near the beginning of the War of Wrath.

Chapter End Notes
Some notes on the images used:
- I chose the crown image to represent his kingship of the Noldor, with the reflected crown of thorns/barbed wire showing the weight of authority and the hard decisions one has to make as leader of one's people, especially in times of war
- The hair woven with pearls references back to Finarfin's living among the Teleri as well as representing the beginning of the war, before such luxuries would have become hard to maintain in war.
- The chess pieces represent the political care Finarfin would have had to take to collaborate with Eönwë and Ingwion as they figured out how to lead the Host of the West together.
- The spear represents both the active involvement in the fighting Finarfin likely would have done as well as my headcanon that he used a spear as a primary weapon.
- Finally, the painting of a knight leading an army into battle represents Finarfin's probable role in leading his forces into battle as well as reflecting how later generations might have immortalized the War of Wrath in history.
