New Challenge: Allusive
Literature and art constantly refer back to each other using allusions, and this month's prompts are inspired by allusions to literature, myth, art, and history.
four word prompt: wandering, silence, strayed, aroused
Arousal drips like honey into my mouth, warm and sweet and thick. Never in all my wandering days did I think I would meet one such as you. You breathe new life into the silences, the hollow cracks that came because we strayed far from the safe path. The path led to shadow, to spider webs, to creeping vines, but also to you, you, huntress with the twilight child. Will you keep me? I would serve you, with tongue and finger and carved instrument, I would let you sing again. Will you hunger for me, as I hunger for you?
