The new celestial body – they would have to think of a name – gleamed bright and silver in the sky over a bloodstained battlefield. The air was still, but the carrion birds that had haunted the golden beaches of Alqualonde wheeled and dove over dread Lammoth. Fingon shivered, the echoes of a shadowy scream permeating his bones. His search for his sister was cut short, an all too familiar shriek twisted by agony. Írissë, white cloak stained red, cradled a beloved body to her chest.
