"It wasn't supposed to end this way, all ruin and darkness," Aulë whispered bitterly, looking across the wasteland that was covered in the remains of Illuin. Jagged shards of stone and ice lay scattered where Yavanna's trees had once grown. A painful sight.
Yavanna squinted her eyes, and a tear rolled down, falling into the dust. "It doesn't end yet. There is still beauty amongst all the ruin. Look closely."
A small white flower stretched from her tear, growing upwards toward the light in her hands.
"There is life and light yet. We can start anew. Melkor will not prevail."
