About Me
A vague prompt. Well... My uncle gave me a copy of Lord of the Rings when I was in elementary school, and I've read it at least yearly ever since? Which is almost twenty years ago now - itself a frighteningly long time. Buying my own copies of the Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales was almost inevitable after that. Let alone the whole History of Middle-Earth... To the extent that if I don't catch myself I'm liable to treat Tolkien as a creation mythos right alongside the Greek or Egyptian or whatnot. Somewhat awkward in some contexts, perhaps, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
