Drawn for the SWG Birthday Bash challenge for the March 16th poetry prompt (this poem by Sappho) and for femslashfete for the prompt "gnarled." Not posted until now because I didn't get around to scanning it.

The Children of Húrin says about Rían: "[S]he was gentle of heart and loved neither hunting nor war. Her love was given to trees and to the flowers of the wild . . ." And so I thought she would get along very well with the Ents and Entwives. This Entwife is based on an apple tree.
