“What if,” said Manwë, regarding Maedhros with star-bright eyes, blue as sapphires and piercing as blades, “you were sent from these Halls for a purpose, son of Fëanáro?” “I suppose, my lord,” Maedhros said slowly, “that would depend upon the purpose.”

Fëanor shrugged, studying the contents of his wine glass. “Something must be done about that house. It will fall down eventually.” “It does not follow that it must be you that tears it down single-handedly. Are you sure you do not want help?” “It’s not as though I…
This is my new poetical attempt to add my own interpretation to Tolkien's Cosmology as to Eru's Creation and the Valar's minds and behind-the-scene providence reasons and mechanisms.. I often review Eä as part of our own world, just in another dimension, this is why I have always seriously…

By definition, fanworks fandom does not draw a lot of boundaries, but community archives and events have taken a strong stance against AI-generated fanworks due to ethical considerations and member input.

This story is stunning. I am so happy I was able to provoke you into producing this. I love Fingon in this story (I was do, but I feel like I know him here). And Maedhros is just so incredibly self-deprecating and yet sweet (don't throw things at me for using that word!).
The is among the sexiness smut I have ever read, if far from the most explicit. I'd write you a ficlet a week if I believe I could pressure you into sending back something like this. Love Fingon and Maedhros in this story so much.
Thank you! I was wondering about how to use that poem (as soon as I read it, I thought about Maedhros) but before reading your ficlet, I didn't know how I would go about it. Sometimes I worry that I write Fingon as too much a goof, but I have to say, I like writing him that way. And Maedhros ... Hah, I think he'd protest to be called sweet. (But he can be, I think.)
This is lovely, but so poignant. There is such a vein of sadness runs through any and all interaction with these two; perhaps it is knowing what will come to pass later, but it's a skilled author who can weave that looming grief into a story.
Oh, I think that's absolutely true -- everything about them is more than a little twinged with sadness, given what they go through and what's ahead of them still. Thank you for commenting, this really brightened up my day. :)
