Fanwork Notes

Written for the February Challenge, "Revolution".

Revolution, as a concept, is all about the people on the ground - so this is about an ordinary family of elves caught up in a terrible event. The prompt I received for this challenge was the song "Wavin' Flag" by K'naan (let us here take a moment to be nostalgic about FIFA 2010).  I've worked in some allusions to the song's lyrics in several places of the tale - it’ll be exciting if you can spot them! Here's a link to the lyrics.

I hope you enjoy the story!
