Love this. I'm so interested in Tar-Miriel as a character, and I love how you show her and Tar-Palatnir as desperately trying to stem a tide that is too powerful for them to stop. Their fight against the natural human instinct to fear death really hits home, given the uncertainty of the future of Men's souls in-universe.
