Have you ever wondered what would happen if the characters in The Silmarillion were smoooooth like they were sippin' a Sex on the Beach on a party barge in the harbor at Alqualondë? The "Yacht Rock Silmarillion" retells The Silmarillion as though the characters all had perms…
"Move farther north," Caranthir says to her a month after the attack, gaze steady on her even as his hands continue briskly gutting fish. "There is plenty of land closer to my fortress, and my people can help protect yours if there is another attack."
Fëanor shrugged, studying the contents of his wine glass. “Something must be done about that house. It will fall down eventually.” “It does not follow that it must be you that tears it down single-handedly. Are you sure you do not want help?” “It’s not as though I…

By definition, fanworks fandom does not draw a lot of boundaries, but community archives and events have taken a strong stance against AI-generated fanworks due to ethical considerations and member input.

It was actually rough reading his obituary to prepare for this story! But if there are any actual angels in this world, it would be him. Thank you for reading!
I was seriously thinking of a Part 2 with the death of Jimmy Carter, but that might be a little too much for the moment, especially with the year we have coming…
What a clever idea, and what a wonderful, peaceful point of view to see the world through. And what an imaginative way to portray everything -- his death, the garden, his new powers... A really cheering, resful fic.
I hope you plan to continue it, and bring love and wisdom to a few more characters.
I had one further idea: Mister Rogers sings "What do you do with the mad in you?" to Fëanor, and suddenly he is NOT traipsing off to Beleriand without the Valar's blessing...
This was so very sweet!! And now I am imagining later visitors as well, someone who paints happy little trees, someone else who renews a joy in reading... <3
"We cannot simply rewrite the laws to allow a marriage beyond two people in this manner."

Fred Rogers @ Feanor: Now sometimes we're asked to sacrifice something we love for the good of many people, and I know it's incredibly hard. In return, you'll be a hero to everyone who lives here for giving back some of the light that they loved, because you had the foresight to keep it. Do you think you can make that sacrifice, to keep so many people happy? Remember -- your family and friends are more important than anything you can own, and they feel the same way about you.
