Fanwork Notes

For the March 30 poetry prompt:

Tho' much is taken, much abides; and tho'
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

I like Earendil here and his POV here.

After that lonely journey through Tirion and onward, it's really nice that there are some familiar and friendly faces to greet him afterward.

Even if at first he understandably doesn't appreciate it so much himself, as very understandably he just wants to get back to Elwing.

I was amused by your take on Eonwe!

....unfairly dumping him on unknown relatives in the middle of Valmar. But there is quite a sweet reunion in the palace with Glorfindel and his Auntie Lalwen.

Eärendil does really need to get back to Elwing though! Perhaps Eonwë could actually be useful and fetch her.
