Fanwork Notes
The violence (mild) tag is quite mild; it depicts the aftermath of violence rather than the actual violence. However, I decided to stick on the safe side. In my opinion, it is really rather mild.

Daurin, also known as Tórin, was a Gnome in the Lost Tales who was said to be related to Fëanor (and killed during the theft of the Silmarils). Daurin is his Gnomish name, and Tórin his Qenya name. Given that Gnomish became Sindarin and Qenya became Quenya (and that there is no canonical translation for either of his names), I stick to Tórin as his modern Quenya name. You may also notice that I shifted his death to have to do with the Darkening - I thought that narratively, it is more satisfying that he does not die in Formenos like Finwë.
