In Aman, no one dies.

Daurin, also known as Tórin, was a Gnome in the Lost Tales who was said to be related to Fëanor (and killed during the theft of the Silmarils). Daurin is his Gnomish name, and Tórin his Qenya name. Given that Gnomish became Sindarin and Qenya became Quenya (and that there is no canonical translation for either of his names), I stick to Tórin as his modern Quenya name. You may also notice that I shifted his death to have to do with the Darkening - I thought that narratively, it is more satisfying that he does not die in Formenos like Finwë.

(Míriel Þerindë sleeps ever in the Lórien, her eyes closed as the seasons change. The grass grows around her body, and only one person visits regularly. She looks alive, but she is dead: she chose to die, she chose to leave, she chose this.)

(Finwë Ñoldóran's blood stains the steps of Formenos, a last final stand that he was never going to win. He did not choose this, but does it really matter? He is still dead and buried into the cold ground. Melkor gains the name Moringoþo for this marring.)

(Tórin, Fëanáro's kinsman, lies a corpse under the ash of the Two Trees. Ungweliantë killed any elves who blocked her way to sapping their light. He will not be buried; few go to the site of Telperion and Laurelin and any who would give him the proper burial are leaving.)

In Aman, no one dies, unless they are related to Curufinwë Fëanáro Þerindion.

(In almost every way that counts, the First Kinslaying at Alqualondë is related to him too.)
