Fingon is all grace and gold-streaked hair as he spins through the steps of a dance from a past life. Fingon is breathtaking in his beauty, the flush of his cheeks high with smiling exertion and laughter. Fingon is the master of his body and the master of every eye in the room as he twirls, his skirts flaring around him in elliptical arcs. Fingon welcomes the new year with this simple act, the dance that beats back the winter and welcomes the spring.
Maedhros watches, now, but does not move. He does not join Fingon’s dance, despite his wanting.
