Thanks! (And that was quite a poignant moment in your fic, when Tuor feels so overwhelmed by emotion of all the could-have-beens.)

(This actually started out as quite a different painting that I felt I messed up, so I kept going with adding layers of paint and pencil, and then rubbing bits to remove paint, at which point the ghostly figure appeared in the shadowy wood, soI just followed the suggestions from there. Like writing, ometimes it's the painting that says how it wants to appear!)

This really captures Turin from Tuor's point of view in the fic, entangled and quickly receding. Almost as if he is visibly running through Glaurung's lies.

I guess it is unintentional, but it also strikingly reminds me of Saeros's earlier flight, like a kind of mirroring of that earlier fateful moment.
