Summary:
After ten thousand years in the Halls of Mandos, Feanor and Fingolfin are reembodied into a Valinor that looks the same, but is now wholly different from the world they left behind—and they too, have been irreversibly changed. But the methods used by Mandos to heal them have had the opposite effect, and Fingolfin, the warrior of the Elder Days, grows restless, melancholic, and soon depressed in the land of milk and honey. The solution to his ills? Another unwinnable war with Feanor and a new, sordid sexual affair culminating in violence.
An exploration of the complexities (and horrors) of reembodiment, how the reembodied elf relates to his new body and the world around him, how the corrective arts of Mandos may psychologically harm those subjected to them, and the consequences of trapping a hardened soldier in Paradise.

Thank you to Erendur and Lee for being my constant cheerleaders while I was working on this <3 And thank you Erendur especially for providing many of the worldbuilding ideas, most notably those about semen retention.
All names of original characters come from Chestnut_pod's name list.
The discussion the guys have while they are frotting draws heavily from Shibboleth of Feanor, and a knowledge of that text will be useful for the reader.
