Written for the Epic 80s challenge, inspired by the prompt: 'The Message' by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five.

Also for Day Two of Tolkien Gen Week 2026 (friendship and animals).

Since canon tells us that Borondir escaped attack and pursuit partly because of the speed of his horse, I decided to name the horse Flash, in honour of the 80s prompt.
