By definition, fanworks fandom does not draw a lot of boundaries, but community archives and events have taken a strong stance against AI-generated fanworks due to ethical considerations and member input.
In a book as full of death as the Quenta Silmarillion, grief and mourning are surprisingly absent. The characters who receive grief and mourning—and those who don't—appear to do so due to narrative bias. Grief and mourning (or a lack of them) serve to draw attention toward and away from objectionable actions committed by characters.
This presentation for Mereth Aderthad 2025 discusses the parallels between the concept of abnegation in the scientific work surrounding the atomic bomb and in The Silmarillion. The relinquishment of self-interest in favor of the interests of others, abnegation was identified by Tolkien as a powerful act of spirit and reason. Enjoyed your story of Vanimelde, the Queen who preferred to dance rather than play politics. I think she's right that we need the nourishment of the arts to satisfy our hunger for life's meaning. Perhaps, the world would be a better place if we were all able to dance together.

Oh my heart! I came here by Tallulah's rec, and I have not regretted it. Poetry on obscure Second Age femslash ships is always something which will capture my heart, and this is gorgeous and delicate ♥♥♥. The song is haunting, and the echoes between Yavien and her lover are beautiful!
I'm sorry if these one-after-anotehr reviews are creepy; I adore these stories, and Ancalime not being as heart-hearted as the histories and her grandchildren think (thought, really) her (even when still stubborn and a little arrogant) is lovely! And I do love Ancalime's granddaughter carrying on Ancalime legacy!
